Campus Type

UNC Greensboro students can change their "Campus Type" to reflect either on-campus or online. An online campus type is for students primarily enrolled in an academic program offered entirely online. An on-campus type (typically "Greensboro") is for students primarily enrolled in an on-campus program. A student's major must align with their campus type. Students are encouraged to consult their academic advisor to ensure that a change in campus type will not disrupt their academic progress or course sequencing. There are distinct billing, immunization requirements, and campus resources that apply to each campus type. 

Deadline for Change of Campus

A student who wishes to change their campus type must do so before the first day of classes listed on the academic calendar for a given semester. Any changes made on or after the first day of classes will be effective for the next semester.
