Required: 12 credit hours

Foundations of Music Teaching and Learning (6 credits)
Select two courses (6 credits) from the following:6
Research Methods in Music
The Measurement of Musical Behavior
Seminar in Music Education
Electives (6 credits)
Select two courses (6 credits) of electives from 600- or 700-level MUE courses6
Total Credit Hours12

Exit Requirements

To acquire the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Music Education, all students must complete the course work, as specified, with a grade of B or better to demonstrate that they have sufficient depth and breadth of music education.
