This course integrates the application of video production techniques and live streaming to gaming and esports media. In addition, the course critically analyzes the conceptual frames and themes of esports media “texts” as well as how they impact and are impacted by beliefs about gender, race, and culture.

MST 489 Media Thesis Production 3
This capstone course is designed to bring together ideas, processes, practices, and theories in the service of the production of a substantial work of cinema. Students will pursue an entire project from conception to completion, combining intensive preproduction, production, and post-production with in-depth instruction on lab work, distribution, and exhibition.
